Being a Guide leader is a chance to make a difference in girls lives, to make memories for a coming generation. Were you a Brownies? Do you remember the games? Were you a Guide? do you remember camp?

Guiding gives women leadership training which can be used in all aspects of their lives. You will make friends with many remarkable women

There are opportunities to travel around Canada and the world. In the past girls and women from the Kootenays have been to Mexico, England, India and Switzerland.
They have attended events in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
In the summer of '99 two groups are attending Mosaic camps, one in Manitoba and one in New Brunswick.
Local units have Slept with the Whales at the Vancouver Aquarium, spent the night at the Calgary Zoo and slept at Science World.

Girls have camped, learned to cook, played games, made crafts and learned teamwork.

None of this is possible without leaders.

Give some girls your time. Give some girls lifelong memories.

To become a leader call the commissioner in your area.
